Fatim Bangoura

is the founder and head designer of “Sabu Collection”. Born in Guinea West Africa, she comes from a lineage of seamstresses. Fatim moved to the New York City to obtain a degree in art and soon after mastering the English language, she got her Associates degree in Fashion Design/Merchandising from Mt. San Antonio College and received her Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design at California State University of Los Angeles. She’s participated in numerous fashion shows; won design awards; worked as costume designer in numerous movies and continues to work as a stylist for major studios.

Luis Gavela

is a 20 year veteran creative director and wardrobe stylist, who has styled celebrities such as Ricky Martin, Selma Hayek, Rosie Perez, actor Henry Dean Stanton, Engelbert Humperdinck and many more. His work’s been featured in a lot of magazines such TV Novelas , Mexican Vogue, Hollywood Herald, Moda Avenue, LA Times, Food & Wine and many more.

As a set and prop stylist, he has designed sets working very closely with lots of incredible photographers and directors of photography. He’s worked on tons of images for stock photo world like Picture Arts, Jupiter Images, Corbis stock photo and Getty image. As an event planner and designer for “Gavela Event Design”, Luis creates for corporate and personal events; specializing in flower arrangements, lighting, fabrics, music and backdrops.  Having Nintendo games as one of his clients, he’s launched games like Super Mario 1 and 2, Mystery Case and many more games around the USA. His latest undertaking is landscape designing for “Agave Landscape Design”.  His goal with this new venture is to design every project to meet a peaceful and tranquil environment that his clients want.  He enjoys working with unique elements to create fresh new environments to convey positive feelings and ambience in each residential or commercial space. He’s been called a renaissance man by many but considers himself a simple man from Ecuador with a Spanish accent that had the opportunity to come to USA to work with the best in the industry. He continues to create his own designs and styles eager for opportunities to challenge him to take his creativity to the next level.
