Mucca Pazza is a label known for its limited number of unique individual designs. Made with high luxury materials with incredible attention to detail, every handbag tells a special story. Each of the complex, genuine leather, high quality luxury parts is absolutely exclusive, which means none of the gems is repeated used. Started in 2008 by Gabriele Ruetz-Razzetti, Mucca Pazza became a fulfilled ambitious dream. Mucca Pazza comes from the Italian language and freely translated means "crazy cow,” which in association with the handbag designer herself, comes up with the craziest yet beautiful ideas for each collection. The handbags are handmade with cow leather and calf fur that is dyed with non-toxic additives and purified without the addition of chemicals.

Having worked in the fashion industry for a long time, Gabriele decided to turn her sights on creating a stand out bag. "I got fed up with being a brand ambassador for many industrially produced and overpriced bags of various brands; leading to a terror of consumption." Gabriele decided to design her own individual luxury bags that are to this day, processed from the highest quality materials, with a Touch of Class. The first Mucca Pazza bag presented at various events, quickly gained positive feedback and attention.

As we got closer to boarding soldiers checked passengers for weapons and even got into arguments with some of them as my family sat down and waited for everyone else to board. I sat between my mother and aunt while my little brother, Nasir, sat on my mother's lap. As the bus moved along the countryside he turned to her and said, “This bus is going to blow up.” I looked searchingly at my mother and aunt as to why he would say something like that. My mother believed that Nasir often predicted tragedies as he did when we were in the refugee camp. But I was also taught to believe in the superstitions of men, even though we were often told stories of mysticism since our parents were animist before Christianity came to Sudan. I prayed to God this little boy was wrong and that we were going to get to Addis safe and sound.

Requests to design and create bags became the norm; and wherever Gabriele went, she was approached and asked to design individual bags tailored to the wearers’ styles and looks. Over time, she got an ever more increasing circle of exceptional clients including Valerie Campbell, Model Agency-Owner Véronique Kern and Carmen Geiss; all of whom no longer go out without a Mucca Pazza handbag.

Her ideas are handmade by an Italian master craftswoman, who has spent years working for the internationally renowned handbag and leather goods label Fendi. Thus, the most unique pieces for Mucca Pazza are realized in practice. Today, the handbag designer Gabriele Ruetz Razzetti lives with her husband Paolo in the idyllic town of Bassano del Grappa in Italy.
