  • Shari Belafonte is an actress, model, writer, producer, singer and an avid photographer. The daughter of legendary singer and actor Harry Belafonte is known for her role as Julie Gilette on the 1980s television series "Hotel". She has appeared in countless TV shows including Different Strokes, The Love Boat, District, Nip Tuck and has also appeared on the cover of over 300 magazines.

  • Belafonte's multi-faceted career also includes moderating and voiceovers. She has producing credits for theater, feature films, public and network television and has an affiliation with numerous children's, animal, and environment causes. ASM interviewed Shari (a guest contributor to this issue) to discuss her projects such as "Fund Art Now", "Postcards from Cuba" and her recent trip to the country.
